I sent my application on the 14th of December, I think. It was right on the deadline anyway. As for when they're going to send out responses, the last email by Richard Badger just said he expected to "begin" sending out decisions "early" in February. So, I don't think it's certain we'll hear this week. But it's a possibility - and I definitely hope so!

Where are you from by the way? You applied to other schools? Chicago your first choice?

Hey again. I'm from Scotland, and, like you, I'm just finishing up my final year of law school. I've applied to NYU, Harvard, Chicago, Penn, Yale, UCLA, Cambridge (UK) and LSE (UK). I think Harvard would be my first choice, but, after that, I have absolutely NO idea! I guess I'll just have to wait and see what offers I get...

By the way, I thought the Stanford LLM required at least 2 years of previous professional experience?

Thats true. Stanford does require work experience. Unfortunately for me I did not know that before applying. But I am sure I shall not be gettin in. :)

Your grades must be top notch to apply to these universities. Did u go for an LSAC evaluation? I really don't know how this evaluation works. I have a superior in mine. Would that be good by any chance?

atticus (great username btw!), I'm from the UK. Chicago's probably not my first choice for practical reasons, but I'll have to wait to see outcomes! Good luck with your apps.

Hi there!

I've applied to U.Chicago too! I've also taken a shot at Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU and LSE.

By the way, I'm a little concerned that U.Chicago hasn't so far requested my report from LSAC. I wrote Richard Badger about that but I got no answer back. Is anyone in the same situation?

Cheers!

The fact that they have not requested your LSAC report may be a problem. May be there is problem with your LSAC number.?

Did you recieve an application complete mail from Richard Badger? If so, I would'nt worry much.If not, I would call them to clarify this...

I agree.. If you got an application complete mail then should be fine. However, if you did not, I would suggest you call up the office immediately. Even if you did get the application complete mail I wud suggest you call them. They are really helpful at UChicago.. I called them when i wasn't sure whether my application was complete or not.

Richard Badger just sent an email saying it. Check your emails. But you may not hear back this week. He said he will "start" sending repsonses this week - he's gona do it by the date at which your application was completed, starting with the earliest. I sent mine on 15 December, so I probably won't hear for a little while...
