Is there anyone who are still in the standby group of U Chicago? I am really running out of patience in hearing from them. As the rule sets, it is okay for me to wait since I am on the standby group. But the process has been much pro-longed which is beyond the reasonable time period. I don't see any necessasity for them to spend every seven day (an entire week) to get back from the admitted applicant from the standby group in every round. I am supposed to know where I go one month ago but until now, I don't get any updates from them, though they are expected to send us an email May 28.
Didn't mean to judge but the way Chicago proceed really annoyed me.

I was on the standby list and heard back around 20 April with a result, i.e. I was admitted. Have you tried e-mailing and calling Richard Badger?
I get the impression they are just holding out in case anyone else drops out late (which I believe is unlikely) and then pick up someone from the standby group.
