Hi all, I was thinking if you could give me some advice. in the future, I plan to take an LLM which will focus on environmental law, administrative law, and corporate governance. I'm currently practicing in these fields and in order to further my knowledge in these fields as well as to bring myself up to snuff on the most important issues in these fields, I'm considering attending either Harvard's summer course on International Corporate Governance by Prof. Charles Moran or the summer seminar of the Academy of American and International Law (the "AAIL").

I'm interested in Prof. Moran's course because I've looked up Charles A. Moran, he also seems interesting to learn from. Finance background, was a CEO, has a JD, is now a professor. It's expensive though, US$2,200 last year. Might be more expensive this year. And I don't get any sort of certification or diploma from attending this course.

On the other hand, the AAIL seminar covers a wide range of courses intended to introduce foreign lawyers to US laws and it covers such a wide range of topics. And it's a whopping US$8,000 for a five week (whole day) course! On the other hand, I get a certificate from attending this course, and a diploma, if a pass some requirements. Then again, it's so expensive that if I get just US$22,000 more, I'd almost have enough for an NYU LLM.

What do you think will be better? Thanks guys.
