Hi all, an applicant from Southeast Asia here, just wanted to let you know that I have just received an offer from the LST program :) Had the call/interview last week on the 4th. Good luck to everyone still waiting :)!!

congrats to you. May I please ask if it is a scheduled call or a cold call for the LST program this year? Thank you very much

Can you tell me details about the interview? What kind of questions did they ask you? My interview is going to be tomorrow. Thank you.

Sure! In my case, the call lasted around 30 minutes. I was asked about my work experience, my interests and the things I wrote on my CV. I was also given an opportunity to ask questions regarding the program/uni. It was more like a friendly/casual conversation to make sure that my interests align with the LST program :)

To answer @Cn14's question, I think it was meant to be a cold call. However, somehow, the call couldn't get through to me. So I got an email informing me of the above and to schedule a call :) Good luck!!!

I am a SPILS applicant and my Toefl is above 110.
Just got an interview a couple mins ago if this may help.

If this helps, my TOEFL is also above 110 (met all of the subsection requirements). Still got the call :)

Hi, I had my interview for ELP last Monday, but I have not received any news so far. 

In case if it is helpful to anyone, the interview lasted for about 35 minutes. The interviewer was very friendly and all questions were related to my background, why Stanford and the program, what are my plans for the future, etc. Also, she explained to me about the ELP program and what concerns the covid situation, she told me that nothing is clear by now, but she believes that would be, at least, partially normal (i.e., physical classes with certain sanitary measures).

Hi, notwithstanding that I apply to the LST program with 99 in my TOEFL. My application is still under review. I know it's difficult, but who knows.
