Well. Just got the admission letter from NYU. But no news from Stanford. Anyone who has some clue, please help with valuable inputs. Really need it.

Hi there? Which LLM specialization you applied for? I also applied to NYU (Competition, Innovation and Information Law) and Stanfrord (Law Science and Technology), but haven't heard anything from NYU as well.

Hi! I applied for the traditional LLM in NYU, but for Stanford I have applied for the CG&P Program. Have heard anything from them yet. So let's see how things go!

Hello! Has anyone got an email from SLS for the application status?
I’m referring to this one: https://aces2.lsac.org/YourStatus/membership/logon.aspx

The only email i've got is the LSAC confirmation from November.

Anyone received the call from Stanford yet? I applied to Spils and am out of my country this week, I’m worried they may call and the phone won’t work, but usually they don’t start calling this early, right?

I think SPILS calls come usually in end Feb or early March per previous threads.

I've applied for the programme too, but not very hopeful of getting admitted. :/

I hope they will start soon. Do you have any info on what are we supposed to talk about? Are they going to questions us like why stanford, about our PS etc?

Do you guys know if SLS always makes a call? Or is it random? For example, can you get accepted without receiving a call? And yeah, it would be useful to have a valuable input about how is the call, and what is it about. Thanks for the info

I saw on last years' posts that the call lasted about 10-15 min long and was not scheduled beforehand. I believe you can be accepted even if you don't receive a call. I would think they ask why SLS and the specific program.

Guys, I think that the decisions (or any equivalents like the waiting list) may come out a bit late this year. Given that the construction of the new Stanford graduate students housing is expected to be complete in the coming year, i.e. 2020-2021 (you can find this info about this on the Stanford housing website), the housing might become more available for graduate students like us. And, hopefully, the number of graduate students for the LLM class they will admit this year might be slightly bigger and I think they need some time to consider this and finalize the decision.

By the way, this is only my prediction!

I dont think this would be relevant for approvals decision-making if unaccompanied by a faculty growth - even if there are more housing options available to students, classes would still have the same size...

As per the previous years threads, those who have applied for the CG&P program like me should be receiving a call soon, not accounting the housing construction delay as mentioned in this thread.

I was reading last's year thread. I noticed that some applicants received a call around Feb 11-12th. Some of them were admitted a few days later (Feb 19, according to the information posted).

So, has anyone had any news? Do you guys know if SLS calls everyone or just random applicants?

Thanks and goodluck to all
