Are calls part of the selection process at Stanford? I have applied for the LLM in International Economic Law, Business and Policy. So should I assume I have been rejected if I don’t receive any call?

Not every student who is accepted gets a call. The calls are very random.

I am a lawyer. They called me after their office hour I think. Should be around 9 pm Pacific Time. Really hardworking :). It’s a US number.

Hi everyone, I had my phonecall last friday (ELP program). Previous the call I received an e-mail to schedule it. The call lasted around 50 minutes, it seems like a lot but it was actually a friendly conversation. The interviewer was really nice and interested to know further details about me and my personal statement. In general, I would advice to be ready to talk in depth about your background (where you are from, where did you study, how you focused your studies), your professional experience, your academic experience (maybe teaching or researching), and how that is linked to the program you are applying.

Saw that too...but its a person that got in last year. Maybe he/she delayed it to this year.

I worry that may mean less spots for us...
