Need help with the personal statement. I am trying to understand if there is any word limit on the same. Alternatively what would be considered to be an appropriate length.

Some universities have a maximum of words, so check that out! Ususally it goes between one and two pages! I think more is too much.

Dear Diana,
Thankyou for your prompt reply. The colleges that i intend to apply fail to recommend the word limit. All the website states is that I have to attach a personal statement. Given this what do you think should be the ideal length.
Thank you

Harvard and NYU specify a word limit. Columbia, Berkeley (for instance) specify a number maximum of pages.
You should check the FAQs to find more info.
