Arkkkkkkkkkk!!! I'm in too!!!!!! I just found the email in my junk mail!!!!!!!!!
Dear xxxxxxx:
I write to offer my personal congratulations upon your acceptance into the University of Pennsylvania LLM Class of 2011. This year's applicant pool was among the largest and most talented we have seen in the history of Penn Law's LLM program (our program for foreign-trained lawyers dates back to the 19th century). Your application is, even in the context of that group, highly impressive. Attached is our Initial Deposit Form. Please fill this out, and return it and the deposit by the date indicated on the form. Once we have received these, we will be following up via e-mail, with additional information about securing your place in the class, housing, career planning and other matters. You will also receive an admitted students packet via postal mail sometime in March, however, all important information concerning next steps will be sent via e-mail so please be sure your e-mail address is up to date.

Congrats on getting admitted guys!!
I applied for early notification and I just found my "Deferred" letter, also buried in my Junk Mail. I'm ditching Hotmail and converting to gmail as soon as all these applications are over. UPenn was probably my first choice so I'm a little bit disappointed.
Anyone know when they tell us wait listed people whether we get admitted or rejected? Do we find out earlier than the regular round wait listed people? I saw some threads on earlier forums where some people who were waitlisted at UPenn didn't get a decision until late April. That is way too long to wait and since I got admitted to Duke I'd have to accept that by then.

have received my admission email from Penn! Now have to choose between Penn and LSE. That's going to be a difficult one
I was hoping to be in for early notifications, but I thought some of my supporting documents had gotten there too late for that. I guess not:)

What's wrong with this wizard dude?? He's been posting this very same message in many topics..praising Northwestern. Got rejected by UPenn??? I didn't even bother applying to Northwestern (I'm sure it's a good school but other schools are in the top ten are obviously superior than Northwestern...IMO).
I agree with him...
Just copy & paste:
I think Northwestern is a terrific option. You simply cant go wrong with NU + Kellogg!!! It is by far the best law and business program in the US. The academic life and overall quality of life is by far superior to University of Chicago.
Unless you're either a beyond nerdy or "lets get wasted" kind of person, you won't fit in at University of Chicago.
US News ranking sucks and you must check your career goals and other sources as well such as the Princeton Review and others.
According to another post Northwestern is supposed to be known as a "preppy" school, one that has beautiful smart people. University of Chicago is supposed to have stodgy nerdy folk who never stop studying and have zero fun.
One may argue that you can do some credits at a business school in any LL.M. program (yet, you wont get a certificate and neither put on your CV later on!!!).
Penn/Wharton is only a way for Penn to make money out of international students (only 3 credits in b-school) and Philadelphia is far worst than Chicago (business, fun, etc.).

Relax Wizard man! First, I can paste here an offer from any school if I tried hard enough...even Yale's. Second, I'm sure NU is far better than Yale, Harvard and Stanford too....let's just keep that to yourself...NU is the best in the world actually...no need to paste the same message which seems absurdly in denial in every topic :) And third,...oh there is no third.

slowbutsure... Relax Man. I just know that NU is far better than PENN and UofC!!!!
BTW, i have been admited to PENN!!!! (and many others)

Hi
I completed my application to Penn on 30 Nov, but I know my transcripts didn't reach them until Jan 6. I don't know if this means I qualify for early review or not - does anyone know?
I haven't received any emails from them yet, so I'm assuming I am in the general pool, as otherwise (by Feb 8) I guess I should have heard admit/reject/defer, right?
Thanks
