Yes, the decisions from UPenn are in.

My complete application for NYU was in mid-January because they requested additional transcripts...I hope I don't have to wait longer because of that. If they are distributing all the scholarships now they should make the decision considering all applicants at the same time.

As for the theory re the admission process following the initial of the surnames, I dont think that's valid... My surname is close to the end of the alphabet :)

I thought they were releasing the scholarships first as well but I got the letter with no scholarship (unless I should look at somewhere else for it, but I dont think so...).

Someone who received his/her "complete application email" on January, 7th got a scolarship yesterday. I'm not sure this theory is valid... I would rather believe "the sooner, the better".

I applied for the Hauser but no news. Thankfully, UPenn released its decisions today, and it's at least some sort of relief.

I called NYU and they said decisions are being released "starting from today on a rolling basis".

Strictly speaking, decisions obviously started yesterday. Also, they didn't want to elaborate further on what "rolling basis" meant (they just said that it was "as decisions were being made". So I'm not sure what to make of this, as they just said "check your email every day".

The woman was just very distant. She didn't answer my question about scholarships directly - only said "check your email every day". Not sure what to make of that as I can't keep refreshing the page every 2 mins for an entire month!

Same here, the only difference is that I received my complete e-mail on Jan, 6.
