I'm in big trouble. its thanksgiving weekend and the deadline is the 1st for NYU.

But DHL says they went there and thats the wrong address. I dont know what to do. Plua DHL does not deliver to PO Boxes. it has to reach before monday! please someone help!

I also have sent my application to this adress. UPS said they could not deliver it on Friday since the office was empty. However they said that this was due to thanksgiving holiday and added that they will try again on Monday.

The information provided to you by DHL and the information provided to me by UPS seem to be overlapping in the sense that the office was empty on friday. As to whether this adress is wrong, I would doubt that. After all, this is the adress appearing in the Application instructions document!! Could it be that the DHL guys misinterpreted the emptyness of the office on friday? (P.S. the HLS office was also empty on friday due to thanksgiving)

I have to say I am no expert at this but my common sense would say that we need not worry about this too much. First of all our applications are postmarked prior to december 1. Second, we sent it to the adress that they disclosed in their application instructions. Third, NYU is a world class lawschool, I am sure the members of their admissions office are most sensible people, who will be able to understand our situation.

Lets hope for the best. I'll keep you informed on any developments on my front.

I would like to hope that "by" December 1st means that "on" December 1st (Monday) would be fine. Breathe!

The address you have is the right one (based on the school's website): just call DHL and instruct them to deliver it to the Graduate Admissions Office at the NYU law school first thing on Monday. I'm sure it'll be fine!

I'm also experiencing the same problem. I've sent my letter of recommendation and transcript to the address above as it's listed in the admission instruction. I'm also using DHL service, and they said it's a wrong address!
I've called DHL and insist it's the correct address and tell them to deliver the docs on Monday whatever happens.

Hope NYU will received all of our docs today!

I called DHL NY (1800-CALL DHL). the problem was that their system only had part of the address recorded. i told them to fix it. now they are saying it should get there by monday. fingers crossed. call DHL NY

I have just been informed that UPS delivered my application to NYU at 9:30am local time. Put pressure on DHL!

I am pretty sure that if you mail to NYU the evidence that demonstate that you sent on time your application, you will not have problems.

UPS is great. I only used their services, and all deliveries where made exactly as promised.

talked to the DHL people in my country... ended up in a huge fight. Called DHL NY they said they are tracking my package and then will deliver it. problem is this wont happen before tuesday. i'm pretty bummed. I talked to NYU they said its ok if its there by tuesday. :(

Trust me. You will not have problems if you could show them that you sent your app on time. If they said that there irt will be no problem by tuesday, it was because maybe you said that it will be delivered that day, but, if it arrives on wednesday or friday, you will not have any problem as well, since you send your app a long time ago.

my application has been delivered. it was delivered on monday even though DHL told me it was lost. after four hours i checked online and it said it had been received and signed for by FRANK.
