I've been admitted to both programs. However, it is quite tough for me to make a decision. Though my specified area is IP law, and Berkeley ranks first in this area, I still hesitate about it as New York is a more charming city and NYU's IP law also has good reputation. Could anyone give me some suggestion in this regard?
NYU v. Berkeley

If I were in your position and wantd to study IP Laws the I would unhesitatingly chose boalt hall over NYU..boalt hall is in my opinion the best IP program in US..they have the best faculty and a great reputation..many of their llm's also find great jobs after graduation..
agreed new York is a great city to live in but west coast is not a bad place either..dont realy think there is any locational disadvantage..

I asked this question in the previous thread, too. Two said they will stay in family houses, and some are still considering between Manville, Ida Louise Jackson, and I-House. I personally will live on-campus and delete Manville first as it is unfurnished. I don't want to spend extra time to find an apartment or furniture since the program is pretty short.
Here are some camparison between Ida Louise Jackson and I-House from my personal view. if anything is incorrect, please correct me.
1. The monthly rent fee for each one makes no big difference. But I-House includes 19 meals (but someone said the food there is terrible).
2. Ida Louise Jackson is an apartment, so you only have to share the bathroom with your roomates. I-House also has shared bathroom, but don't know how many people share one.
3. Ida Louise Jackson has a kitchen, but at I-House you have to book the shared kitchen first.
4. Someone told me that Ida Louise Jackson is a new apartment, and I-House is a little older.
5. They are both located in a walking distance to Boalt Hall.
it's still a tough decision for me.....Do you have any idea about that?
