The Committee on Graduate Admissions has carefully considered your application. I am sorry to inform you that the Committee is unable to offer you admission to the Graduate Division at the Law School.
We hope you will understand that this decision is a reflection of the strength of our applicant pool, rather than the result of a possible weakness in your application. We receive many more applications for admission than we can accommodate each year, and inevitably we must turn away many accomplished applicants simply for lack of space in our program.
Please accept our very best wishes for success in your future academic and professional plans. We genuinely appreciate your interest in New York University School of Law.

Tough. At least you've got admitted to UPenn. So the plans of graduate studies may proceed this year, hopefully.

When did you apply and for what program ?
Don't worry there is something better somewhere waiting for you, this rejection is just a mean to that end.

got an offer the 9 march for the traditional LLM

Offered 10 March for traditional LLM. Received offer packet on 12 March. I'm from Singapore.
Still thinking whether to go for it in the absence of any funding - the opportunity cost is really quite high!

Traditional LLM... not worth it if you are paying for it... Ive seen many LLMs comming back to India as they could not get a job in US and joined firms in India in the same position they had earlier left... some could not even manage to get that job as well....
