NYU LLM Applications 2021-2022

Hey I am from India. Can anyone  tell me where the "application under review" is mentioned in the Applicant Online Status?

My Application Status only shows Term, Year, Degree and Program Name. I am really concerned.

It says so right at the top of the page, in bolded font.

I am from Belgium and my application is still under review .. I think the ones who got admitted the first week are the ones they really want.

That is definitely not the case. Last year's Hauser Scholars were not admitted in the first wave. And I guess that it's fair to say that these are the students they really want to enroll at NYU, given that they receive a full tuition fee waiver.

Oh my apologies, I made a wrong assumption. Was a separate application necessary for the scholarship you talk about?

No worries, of course your theory could hold true, but I just feel that it is highly unlikely! 1f600
You had to write a separate essay to be considered for the Hauser Scholarship.

Does anyone know whether NYU gives out scholarship decisions at the same time the admission decisions are notified to each candidate? I got admitted this week without any mention of financial aids...

Scholarship decisions are usually communicated separately in March (according to past year's threads).

I got 113. I think that NYU required 100. Don't know if they are flexible or rigurous regarding that threshold

Hi all! Congrats to all offer-holders. I've also applied to the NYU LLM, but LSAC is still reviewing my transcripts. Hope to see you all in NYC.

Hi!

Those who have been accepted can you please mention where was your first law degree?

I noticed that many of the admitted are from Austria, Brazil, Canada and Croatia. I just want to see if there's a pattern there with alphabetic order from first law degree!

Sorry if I sound a little cray-cray, I just can't unseen it now! jajaja

Thanks!

I got admitted as well.  I am Nigerian and I obtained my first law degree from Nigeria.  Does anyone know when we may expect to receive financial aid decision? How much aid do they usually give.  Does anyone know any external funding sources that its application is still ongoing which I can apply to?
Many thanks in anticipation of your responses!

Congratulations @Gandhi2. May I ask, when was your application marked complete? Also, did you submit TOEFL test results?

same here ^^ How do they actually process it? They just take a part of the applications, decide who gets in and who does not and move to another batch or is it like those who get in right away are “the most suitable applicants”?? O_o Thx!

I am also still waiting on confirmation that my application is complete. Submitted the first week of January and I haven't heard anything other than they received my application.
