Hi, I am applying to NYU today. I've read that admissions are communicated before early May! Does anyone knows an approximate date?

They have rolling admissions, but they usually give you a reply by April at the latest. Scholarship information on the otherhand takes a very long time. Last year, they gave scholarship information sometime in May.

According to last year's thread, scholarship information was sent at the end of March, not sometime in May. It is however possible that some scholarships were received only in May since the students originally granted with a scholarship decided not to enroll and the respective funds became available again.

Has anyone's application been marked as complete yet on their tracker? From previous threads, it's generally an indication you may hear back soon with a decision I think.

Mine is marked as complete (i.e., "Your application to NYU School of Law is complete and has been submitted to the Committee on Graduate Admissions for review."), but it has been like this for a long time. So it is not necessarily an indication of an imminent decision.

I did. Have just received an email confirmation that my file is complete.

Has anybody else applied to Hauser Scholarship?

Best of luck to us!

Me too. I received the confirmation back in mid-December. And I also applied to Hauser :)

Just asked my friend who applied 2 years ago. Her official acceptance letter (one that she received via mail) was dated January 8. However, the email informing her that she is admitted was sent to her on January 17, if this is of any help to all of you.

I applied in the beginning of December and the status check informs that my application is complete and was submitted for review. I also applied to the Hauser Scholarship. Hope that the decision comes in January! Good luck to us all 1f929

I also applied early December but there's nothing that says "complete" on my status checker, just some auxiliary information. Does it explicitly say complete on yours?

Hi there! It states the following on the very top of the status check page: "
Your application to NYU School of Law is complete and has been submitted to the Committee on Graduate Admissions for review."

Anyone heard back from NYU? People started getting acceptances in early January last year but this year seems silent so far.

Nothing here. I'd assume that they will be released Tuesday at the earliest, in observance of MLK Day. I'd expect NYU to be closed tomorrow.

According to previous years groups, NYU tends to release decisions every Thursday. I don’t know if it is accurate but might be.

I noticed that. We might see decisions this Thursday then. Fingers crossed.
