NYU LLM 2016-2017

Hi everybody!

I am planning on applying to the LLM at NYU starting next year.

A bit concerned because my class rank in undergraduate was not ideal (I went to a second tier school and ranked maybe in the top 25%).

But I do have a decent internship and a clerkship under my belt so I hope that helps.

Please feel free to post here so everybody knows who else is applying, and good luck!!

I applied to NYU llm program as well. It seems that until next year, maybe in March that the decision could be made...the wait is driving me crazy too..

Seems just aliens become Hauser Scholars. lol. Anyways im still giving it a try!

I just meant that it is very hard to become a Hauser Scholar.

My requirements list went blank on the status checker. I'm not sure when it happened, because I hadn't checked in a few days - didn't expect anything to happen over the holidays. Anyone else? I applied to the domestic tax LLM.

Hi Jlybnn! Go ahead an email them, they will surely answer you regarding the current status. I followed that same procedure with another Program and they quickly got back to me.

I also applied to the domestic tax LLM and under my requirements list I have: (i) First Degree Transcript Received, (ii) Letter of Recommendation Received, (iii) TOEFL or IELTS (if applicable) [which isn't applicable]. I'm not sure what else was listed there before but it seems like the list was longer at some point.

They also asked for me to submit my fall semester grades.
