NYU LLM 2016-2017

Gavin

My requirements list went blank on the status checker. I'm not sure when it happened, because I hadn't checked in a few days - didn't expect anything to happen over the holidays. Anyone else? I applied to the domestic tax LLM.

Enfieldradio,

I also applied to the domestic tax LLM and under my requirements list I have: (i) First Degree Transcript Received, (ii) Letter of Recommendation Received, (iii) TOEFL or IELTS (if applicable) [which isn't applicable]. I'm not sure what else was listed there before but it seems like the list was longer at some point.

They also asked for me to submit my fall semester grades.

RFas,

I have the same requirements listed, i.e. (i) First Degree Transcript Received, (ii) Letter of Recommendation Received, (iii) TOEFL or IELTS (if applicable) - but what about the little check boxes left to each requirement? Are they checked in your case or not?

All of them are checked off, except for the TOEFL or IELTS.

Dear Fellows,

There is nothing under my Requirements Lists from the moment I can access to this online status check system. Does this mean something is wrong? My application was complete in November and I was not aware of any additional document request from NYU. Thanks.

My application was complete in late November and my requirements list isn't blank (can still see the checkmarks), if that helps

My requirements box contained several items after I submitted my application in mid-November. Sometime after Christmas, these items disappeared, leaving the requirements box blank. After reading back through past NYU admissions threads, it looks like a blank requirements box may be a sign that a decision will soon be forthcoming. However, I still haven't heard anything. Hope that helps!

I checked threads from past years, and they spoke of their checklist disappearing around march (when decisions are made).

Given that our checklists disappeared around late dec- early jan, I am not sure it's the same.

We'll just have to not read into it and wait for the best.

Thank you, ldncdn! I think I'd better send an email to NYU to ask why my requirement list keeps being blank.

Thanks, enfieldradio. I think my requirement list keeps blank all the time (from November when I submitted the application), and I heard nothing from NYU either. Not sure if it is a sign...

Agreed, I do not think it is same as the "disappearing" in March.

hey guys.. I applied for NYU's domestic tax LLM program at the beginning of December and just got my acceptance yesterday. Pretty shocked but excited!

My stats: 4t law school; 3.56 cumulative GPA; 29 out of 367 students; A's in the two tax courses I have taken so far.

Also applied to Miami (estate planning LLM-thats what I plan on using my tax llm for), UF, Georgetown, and Northwestern. I have been accepted into NW and Miami so far in addition to NYU's acceptance. Anyone else hearing back??

Congratulations, kms10c! Enjoy NYC!

I applied to the same program and went complete back in November. I have yet to hear anything, which I'm guessing is not great news at this point.

I actually don't know if I'll end up in NYC!? It's amazing that someone with my JD background--I.e., the T4 law school I attend--could end up being accepted into a program like NYU. Still waiting to hear back from UF and Gtown. The Florida girl in me is very hesitant to move to a city that regularly gets snow! Haha

Hi! I just checked this from the desktop and the requirements list is blank but from the phone, it all is in place. I think its just a website issue.

Hi all, anyone's requirements list recently gone blank? Mine has in past week or so. Any thoughts as to what this may mean? Super impatient!

Taking a look on the previous comments under this forum, going blank means you'll have an answer soon....

But I can't say for sure.

That's what I thought too, but I've been blank for 2-3 weeks now and nothing.
