NYU LL.M. Applicants 2023-24

I received a scholarship decision yesterday :))

Did anyone receive an admissions decision (accepted/waitlisted/rejected) yesterday (03/15)?

I would like to believe (and sure hope so) that the Admissions Office also took the spring recess. Based on previous years, rejections should start to come in next week... Here's to hoping that we'll still get some good news next week1f974

Hi, yes I've heard that if you get a higher amount of scholarship from some other University, you can qoute the same to NYU and request them to give you a similar amount of scholarship. And they do give increase it! I've heard this from friends from last year. Hope that helps (:

Hi guys! I got the Dean's Graduate Award (20K): does it means for sure that I did not get the hauser?(or other scholarship higher?) I did not hear from anybody who got the hauser actually. Do you know if NYU is keen to reconsider the amount of the scholarship (based on other universities admission/ scholarship)?.

Does anyone know if NYU sends you an email informing you you have not been awarded a scholarship before the beginning of april (asking because of other deposit deadlines)?

I haven't received any decision yet. I do not know if I have been accepted, rejected, or even waitlisted. Should I just wait for an official decision, or do something?
Thank you!

Maybe later today? I checked the discussions from previous years, and it seems they released the first wave between January 25th and January 26th.

I'm lost. The status tracker for the full-time LL.M Program says many foreign-trained lawyers hear by April, and typically all by May. Are all decisions already released?

It doesn’t appear to be the case. Just in this thread alone, a number are still waiting for results. Hopefully favorable decisions are still on the way.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the acceptance rate last year pushing towards April?

Has anyone reached out to NYU about their application status?

No, I’m not sure about that but I think it was irrespective of the ranking because financial support play a major role in student’s decision of finalising a University. I’d suggest there is no harm in communicating with NYU about it, the worst they would do is decline such request. But I’m sure it would be worth it if they do consider it.

I sent an email last week. They said that "the majority of international applicants will receive decisions no later than early May and many will receive decisions well before then." Considering the number of admitted students, I understand that we will hear from them on a rolling basis after those students decline their offers. Therefore, scholarships might not be offered. At this point, I would prefer to receive an offer after April 1st so that we have more time to decide about enrollment.

Has anyone reached out to NYU about their application status?

Didn't hear back. Considering I applied to Georgetown a week later and they sent me an offer two weeks ago I believe we are all Rs or Ws. Georgetown seat deposit is due April 3rd which doesn't give NYU a lot of time for me to consider them even if I am accepted.
