New York University is a great option for LLM students. This year for 2022 I had four of my students get accepted and decide to take the offer. One of the important ways to appeal to the admissions board of the university is to be writing in the "plain English style". In my school we advocate this and this is what I teach when I prepare people to study abroad starting from there personal statements, recommendation letters, all the way through to their CVs.

Is NYU the only school that requires a statement of class rank? I haven't seen it listed as a requisite in other schools. Columbia states that "it encourages but does not require" a statement of rank. Are those applying to Columbia submitting a statement of rank?

NYU will accept applications without a class rank too, if your school does not actually provide one.

Hi all! I recently applied to NYU (4 days ago to be precise). Though LSAC transmitted my completed application to NYU immediately after submission, the university has not requested my law school report yet. Is this delay in requesting the report normal? Has anyone of you also faced this too

I can’t say for NYU but one of the schools I applied to I believe requested my report 2/3 days after my application was transmitted. Hope that helps!

Nope. According to their website they start releasing decisions in January but looking at last year’s data I think it’s going to be the end of this month/beginning of next month at the earliest..

Today, I finally received my “application completed and submitted for review” e-mail. Hope to hear about the decision soon!

When I access via phone sometimes I only get a blank screen. Via computer it always works. You might want to try another browser, perhaps this helps.
