I was just wondering if anyone (especially if you're already at nyu) knows if it is really difficult to get admitted into a colloquium? What kinds of things are they looking for when admitting students? Thanks!

6 courses! Isn't that alot?? I chose only 3 courses with a total of 12 credits. I think that's the average courseload per semester right?

Hi
I didn't register yet. Do I have less chance to get the course I would like or is the lottery system start on June 14 whenever I register ?
Thanks !

Hi! Has anyone registered for a clinic course? I'm considering applying for the International Human Rights Clinic, but I've just read that it demands 12 credits and a year-long dedication. Do you think it's valuable?

I am planning to apply for the International Human Rights Clinic. I thought long and hard about the amount of credits but then I realised there's nothing I'd enjoy more.
You probably know this but just in case, you know you don't register for clinics via the lottery, right? You have to apply separately.

Yes, you're right. Have you already applied for it?
I'm a bit confused with the aplication: do we also have to be interviewed in order to be accepted or this procedure is exclusive for JDs?

Nope I can't apply until I get my grade in July for the undergrad human rights course I took this year.

Is it true that we are only allowed to register for 2 seminars?
