I received an email stating I have been placed on a waitlist for the Tax LLM at Northwestern University for Fall 2006. Has anyone else been placed on this list? If so, what have you heard about the procedure? What are the chances of getting in after being placed on this list? Any info is appreciated.

I got into Florida and Georgetown. I'm still waiting on NYU. If I get into NYU, of course, that is where I will go. But if I don't, I've decided to go to Florida. I sent my response to Georgetown yesterday telling them I won't be attending.

Hi there, pra608. I just know I am accepted to this program and feel very happy. I think I will go to Northwestern since it is prestigious and this is an specialized program. By the way, do you know how NW is ranked in Tax Law this year? I know NYU has been always the No. 1. How about NW? I would appreciate your views.

Hi marody! There is no doubt that NYU is perpetual No.1 in the area of taxation and it does have a perfect location. No wonder you would choose to go there instead of Northwestern. I will go to Northwestern since it is my best choice. What? You would like to change your mind toward Northwestern for me?

I thought of it as my boyfriend is going to university of Chicago for MBA but we decided I will go to No. 1 and after a year join him.... Sorry.. :-)
