LLM + LLM?

Hi all, help me with this please: do you think that having an LLM in my native country could help me in being accepted to an LLM in USA (or other contry) and/or to receive a scholarship???

To being accepted, I think that perhaps could be usfull... having an LLM in my country could represent that I have a better knowledge that could be transmitted to my classmates (diversity).

But for a scholarship... I don´t know... perhaps they could think: "if he has an LLM, why I´m going to give him a scholarship for another LLM? it is better to give the scholarship to a student that doesn´t have the oportunity to have an LLM"

What do you think? In my case, would you tell the university (or the institute that grants scholarships) that you already have an LLM?

Thanks all!

Thanks for your answert. So, in conclusion, you think the same that me: an LLM could be usefull to be accepted in other LLM but likely won´t be usefull to win a scholarship.

Someone else???

Scholarship, LLM in your country will not necessarily lower your chances for a scholarship in the US law school. Especially if you get a scholarship for your first LLM. I know a guy who was granted a scholarship by NYU for his second LLM (he received his 1st LLM in Europe, for which he was awarded a full scholarship). I guess it all depends on how you motivate your desire to get second LLM.
I myself obtained my first LLM in my country. I honestly wrote about it to all the law schools I applied. I explained me desire to get second LLM in the US, since it is the only opportunity to get an insight in American corporate law and obtained more profound and specialized knowledge. Not only I was accepted to a number of top law schools like Columbia, Northwestern, George Washington and Duke, I was also awarded very good schollarships by NW, Duke and GW (full tuition waiver), since I needed a scholarship.
