Hey everybody,
I am thinking about going abroad to do a LLM in Public International Law. I would love to go to one of the top law schools, but NYU etc are quite expensive (fees und living costs) and I have the impression that scholoarship won't cover all the costs.
What law school would you recommend? I am thinking about NYU, Harvard, Fletchers, maybe one in Canada (toronto?). Any suggestions concerning a scholarship? I consider applying for Fulbright and, since I am German, DAAD.
Looking forward to your responses!
Anne

Hi Anna,
I'm also applying to fulbright because I can't afford the cost for a US degree and want to get into the top five programs. I want to focus on Interantional Law. My brother went to AU so I will probably have them as an option and they offer full scholarships. I'm only going to apply to schools in NY or DC. Good luck!

As I see you're interested in applying for a Fulbright scholarship, you may be interested in reading my blog (click LLM Guide Blogs) regarding the problems I experienced with the Fulbright scholarship system.

Hey Anne,
I know you didn't mention AU in your choice, but I'm looking for an LLM in international law as well, and AU Washington College of Law has some scholarhsip info. Agreed it's so expensive, but this looks easy to apply. www.wcl.american.edu/ilsp/llm_scholarships.cfm. Anyways, happy searching and good luck 2u!
