LLM at NYU - do I need any work experience?

zzk1

Hello,

I am currently studying the 4th(out of 5) year of Law in Poland, planning on graduating next year with Master's Degree. My grades have been rather decent with the average of 4,5/ 5, I am doing some pro bono activities, however I haven't had any work experience so far.

I am considering doing one of NYU's LLM programs. Should I think about gaining any work experience in order to be accepted to one of those?

Finally- which one would recommend : LLM Singapore- (NYU@NUSA Dual Master's Program for Global Business Lawyers) or the International Legal Studies program in NYC?

Thank you a lot for any advice

You don't need any work experience to be admitted at NYU.

I would recommend the LLM in NYC because it allows you to take the NYC bar exam.

Most LLM's allow you to sit the NYC bar exam, no? That said, NYU is a good University and you don't need any work experience...
