My question is not actually about LL.M but Ph.D. Maybe some of you can help me. I would like to know if it is possible to do a joint doctoral program between USA and France in IP/IT. If so, what universities offer such a program?

It seems that both Montpellier and Paris II have programs in IP and IT Law (Paris II is the house of Creative Commons in France). André Lucas, dans l'Université de Nantes, is also a foremost IP/IT legal scholar and runs a Master programme (not quite sure if also a PhD) there. I don't know very much about joint degrees, but I am going to the University of Ottawa in August (LLM in Law and Technology) and can check it out with Daniel Gervais, who has done his Doctorat in Nantes, if he knows something about the topic. In my sensibility (and I can be totally mistaken), you'd get greater chances if you were going to Canada.
