I work in Commercial Litigation (Insurance) in Montreal, Canada and am trying to find the best possible program, IN THE WORLD, relevant to my field. I realize certain law schools are more known in one area than in another, so I would like to know if anyone has an idea as to what isthe best in my field.

So far as the UK is concerned, no university, so far as I know, offers a law masters degree specifically entitled insurance law. A number of universities, however, offer masters options on insurance law and other relevant subjects such as private international law. Bear in mind also that the insurance option offered is often marine insurance. This is because the option will usually form part of a portfolio of maritime law courses, alongside subjects such as international sales. Marine insurance was, however, how commercial insurance started and most of what you would study may well have relevance outside of marine insurance. That would depend on the size of the marine insurance option and its depth and breadth. UK universities to look at to see whether you could put together a programme that would interest you might include Nottingham and UCL.
