Got into NYU- General Studies Program, but no mention of scholarship. I have until April 15 to decide. Good luck to all those who are waiting.

Oh Jesus,

Everyone's finding out....except me. Have any fellow UK students found out about admission?

If so -was it by air mail or email?

Also - have any Trade Regulation LLM;s found out about admission? I applied for Antitrust specialization; but no news - seems only generall/Corp LLM have been given decision?

Cheers

Initial advice of decision is by e-mail, to be followed by mail. I bet most international applicants should be hearing from NYU within this week and the next. Best luck to all.

Wow congrats man! That is incredible! I would certainly give huge consideration to this generous offer :)

I haven't heard yet.

Also admitted for the Corporate Law LL.M.
Does anyone have an idea of how big that specific program is?

thats a tough one! The offer is awsome! Well I think I would take it if I were you. Betting on the others and losing this offer might be bad. Its you decision though.

I'm also in. The letter doesn't mention any scholarship and my deadline for answering is April 15; I guess this means I wasn't awarded any scholarship?

A question to the other admitted ones : could anyone please post the link to the "admitted students website"? The admission letter says to check it out but doesn't give the link! And I don't find it in the general website...

Thanks :-)

P.E.T., congrats on your scholarship.. You should accept it not only for the money, but also for the prestige... You will have this year $50,000, but the status of being a Grotius Scholar will last all your life!!!

Hello GlasglowLaw, I also apply for the Trade Regulation LLM and have not received any response yet. Two friends of mine were accepted at NYU for the General LLM and for the International Tax LLM.

Cheers

I would call the other schools or e-mail them and explain about your March 6 deadline. If they are not interested, I would not pass up a full scholarship and the prestige associated with getting one.

Got an offer from NYU for the LLM in Trade Regulation (Antitrust). I'm from France. No "spontaneous" scholarship from NYU. Haven't applied for the "big scholarships", but I heared that NYU can grant partial scholarships on a spontaneous basis, even if the applicant didn't ask for anything... Well, this is not the case for me unfortunately! Good luck to all of you still waiting and congrats to all admitted ones!

Hi PET, what specialization will your Vanderbilt-awarded (full-tuition) friend pursue?

Anyone else admitted to International Tax LL.M. got the "Gerald Wallace" scholarship? When are you planning to claim the award, if planning to do so?

Thanks!

A close friend, to say the least, got accepted (e-mail with a link to a www.law.nyu.edu site with a pdf-file containing information on the scholarship etc) this morning and got the Vanderbilt full-tuition scholarship. My friend is from Europe.

just wondering - couldnt you just accept the scholarship and wait for the other universities answer? the worst that can happen (as I see it) is that you lose $ 500 or are there any other possible consequences? (besides it being unfair to other students - but it seems to me NYU provokes this kind of behavior with their deadlines)
