Yes I do. I applied to : Stanford, Columbia, Harvard, Berkeley and U Penn.
Harvard Berkeley U Penn = rejection.
Columbia and Stanford ( International economics...) offered me a conditional admission. How come? my TOEFL score is 96!!
Many people told not to apply with this score, I did not listen.
Conditional = attending 6 weeks of intensive English course prior to the LL.M
I might choose Stanford ( got till April to choose).
Yes I did it.
I've noticed one guy got to Columbia with TOEFL score ( 96). Check it with the tracking...
You can do it, I mean apply with lower score. You might not have it, you might, it depends on your luck. 90% forget it , 10% there is a chance.
I did it, Columbia and Stanford!

Congrats! TOEFL score is one aspect of your application, that's why many people get rejected in spite of having outstanding results. Also, in many cases your results don't reflect your understanding of English.

Congrats. To be frank, it is quite surprising to be admitted like that!
Hope you all the best in either of them!

Congratulations! Could you please talk a bit about your background? I've read that Stanford requires a minimum 2 year work experience

Would you mind sharing your credential sand background as I am applying to similar chain of schools and would like an insight!

Hi Dieze,
It is an inspiring story.
Would you be kind to share your tips here on how to get the conditional offering? How you convince them with the score? I am curious about it as I encounter the same difficulty with the score.
Thank you in advance.
