The online record shows that all my materials were received around the end of October. But I haven't received the confirmation email so far.

I wonder if there's anyone who's already received such an email, and how long did it take after all the documents were delivered to the admission office?

Hi, Smartjerry, I received the e-mail from HLS to confirm my application was received and under review. However, if the online status is right, there is no worry about that even you have not received the confirmation mail.

Just wonder if there should be another email sent by some admission officer confirming the application is essentially complete, as those I received from other schools.

But I found the status of my transcript changed from "received" to "complete" last week. So I guess maybe the only thing I can do is to keep checking back the status online.

My transcript status says complete but my Toefl score score reads Not received. Its driving me crazy especially as the deadline is so close plus I asked for a waiver.

I submitted my application on Nov 24 and the physical documents reached on the 26th (or so DHL says).

The only confirmation I have received till now is the first entry on the online Tracker that says 'received' - this got updated within a day of submitting the online form.

Does anyone have an idea how long it takes for an acknowledgement that the application is complete?

Since they put the track system this year, I don't think they will send a completion email.

I think the tracker explains everything you need.

I know - but after submitting the application, the online program advises that HLS will send another email once the application is complete on their file - it even mentions that it need not be immediately following.

I just checked - the stuff i sent by post (recos and transcripts) show as 'received' and 'complete' respectively.

All my documents which were sent by post are now showing as 'complete' but my online recommendations aren't - I'm not going to worry about them, I'm not sure if they even update this. Does the status of the application generally change from 'received' to 'complete' once they start considering it? (irrespective of emails and the like)

I think it's supposed to. I wish it were that easy to stop worrying about it but i just can't seem to stop myself logging into the application every few hours.

Do they really need 3 months to consider 1500 applications. I'm sure their diversity quotas can reduce that to 500 serious contenders.

it has been what feels like forever and the status has not changed. whats surprising is that my recommenders sent their letters by email, i was intimated of the same and even that is not reflecting in the status page. i had sent transcripts through LSAC and only the law school transcripts are reflecting as complete.

I don't think you should expect them to update anything other than:

Application (which should say 'received')
TOEFL (something like 'complete', 'received' or 'N/A')
Transcripts ('complete')

Possibly also paper recommendations - but perhaps they don't update this, as with online recommendations? Anyway, if you know your documents reached them there is little point in worrying.

I sent one paper reco along with my transcript and two online recos.

My transcript and 1 reco were updated as received together (same time) - so obviously they update the paper stuff. But the online recos are yet to be updated. Is this normal ?

I have submitted my application on November 29.
Only my application and paper recommendation have been marked "received" in the tracking system.
Everything else is marked "No current status. Please check back later".

Is this normal?
