Also rejected, but not dismayed. Very happy to have some other excellent offers. Congratulations to all of you who have succeeded. I'm sure you'll all have the most incredible experience! Good luck to everyone.

Rejected.
Oh well
Not devastated, kinda expected.
Good job to those who got in.

For those in the rejected side, I will raise my glass in your honor.
For those who got in, I will raise the second glass.

A gentle reminder to all those who have been admitted: if you've made up your mind to go to Harvard, please tell them as soon as you can and let the other places know you won't be attending. It could mean the difference between getting off the waitlist for some people still waiting to hear from Columbia/NYU/Stanford etc. Thanks!

I am sending my acceptance letter to Yale tomorrow. I am committed to teaching. I think it is a better place for me. I have researched previous comments about Harvard and Yale. Both are great schools; but I am moving my things to New Haven come August.

Any opinions on whether HLS admission is worth forfeiting if one gets NYUs Hauser?

Currently searching discussion threads from previous years to try and figure this out in case it happens...but some more recent perspectives would be very helpful.

Congrats to everyone and let's hope the Hauser decisions are also released soon!

Regarding your query, I've known a couple of cases of people from my country that have rejected the Houser, due to their HLS acceptance. Even though HLS didn't offer anything. If funding is not an issue and HLS has been your goal for quite a time, don't waste this great opportunity.

Thanks for the advice. It confirms my stand on the issue.
