Harvard decisions

Anushka and Jw: wish you both good luck in this. We all know what you are going through now. But the one thing I learned in this entire admission process is that you should't 'go bonkers', as jw puts it. I waited ages to receive my chicago admission for instance and for Upenn I had to wait another round... And both of you have got very good alternatives as well, in case this doesn't turn out well.
But I hope to meet you @HLS

JW, et al -
I still think it might be US candidates will not receive word until next week? Anything to the contrary?

I am from Finland. I'm also a Fulbright Graduate Student. There seems to be one lawyer-Fulbrighter each year in Finland. The guy who got it last year is now at Harvard, doing his LL.M. degree. I got accepted to Yale and Harvard, among other schools. It seems to me that in regards to applying for American law schools we have been privileged, as there are not too many Finns competing for these admissions. The competition must be incredibly fierce in countries with huge population like India or Brazil. It's an unfair world (hopefully I don't sound patronizing).

Once again congratulations!

I know it mas sound boring, but did you receive 17th March e-mail and test mail today?

I'm affraid I'm not on the list of admitted...

Thank you very much!

Mila: Thanks a lot for your words. It's true, we have the "privilege" of being able to study in top law schools in the US, being admitted to great schools where not everyone can go...

Anyway, it must "hurt" having to give up on the Hugo Grotious scholarship...but hey, its Harvard...Congrats, Mila.

Wow! Admission mail finally came in!

I know many other admitted HLS students must have secured abundant scholarship from other law schools, while the picture with HLS financial aid remains unclear. But ... I very hopefully will accept HLS offer...

BTW, I am from Beijing China. MSN: aquagrey@hotmail.com. Hope to know you before fall!

I was almost losing all my hope by reading about the test emails and subsequent admissions, but I've just received the test email RIGHT NOW.

So, I guess all of you who haven't received it yet shouldn't lose hope. We're still on the race! :) Good luck to all and congrats to the admitted!

PS: I haven't applied for Yale or Stanford.

having seen all the progress so far, I cannot but believe HLS managed to make decisions for all applicants by now...

they will probably send out all admission notice by email today, and there will be no additional notice of admission next week...it seems HLS at least lived up to their principle of sending out all admission notice in one day...

Sending my heartfelt congats to all admitted~

I am glad that it is just a few more hours until the end of all the exhaustive waiting~~ good luck to all who didnt hear from HLS so far~~~

I know what you are saying. I don't think a lot of Dutch lawyers are applying for top US schools. Many excellent students I know don't even try, as they have great job prospects anyway. Makes it easy for us, although they might put the finnish, norwegians, Dutch etc on the same pile?
See you in Harvard? (or will you be taking YLS)
