Hi. I know that there are at least two Japanese applicants who have already received an offer from Harvard. They received both two e-mails. Best reagrds. (By the way, I'm from Japan.)

Mila:
I'm not sure that guy is Canadian.. he just attended a Canadian law school.
In any case, Harvard admits more than 1 or 2 Canadians in a given year.
I just can't get over the fact that it does not seem like anywhere close to 150 people were notified on Friday.

Hi! I am from Argentina and have also been admitted to HLS!! I know other person from Argentina admitted. But I will no be going, since I have already accepted the Hugo Grotiuos Scholarship at NYU. Harvard is Harvard, and has always been my "dream school", but -in my case- having a full tuition from a top US law school is impossible to reject since I don´t have enough money to afford the program. Plus NYU is very strong at international law -what I want to study- and I think that going there with a merit award -and being in NYC- gives me more chances of getting a job in the US after my LLM.

Good choice! I faced exactly the same decision and decided to go to Harvard but for different reasons.

Okay Now we know that people from Canada, Japan and South America have been admitted (I am quite positive that are Brazilians on the list as well I think it is rather illusionary to count admitted people through this site).
Why don't we (the on wait ones) relax and wait to see what happens tomorrow? This discussion is being more a self-torture than anything. Our lives are not depending on Harvards admission (are they? ;-))
If we dont expect anything, being rejected will be okay (and a possible waiting list will sound terrific).
Cheers!

Okay, this sounds totally stupid, but is this discussion board about generally being admitted to HLS or is this for some type of specific program?

plus one from RUSSIA, folks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got an admission email on Friday!! All other emails, including the two "tests", were on my board from time to time either.
Still can't believe the dream came true.
NYU is already in a pocket, no news from YLS and CLS, but that is not important now.
