Should I be worried if I haven't received any emails at all? The only email I have ever received was when they confirmed the receipt of my application. Anyone else in the same boat?

Paula, I'm also from Brazil. I received only the 2nd test email too.

JLynDitz229:
Apparently a lot of people received nothing since the confirmation.

I'm aware that people settled in Asia and Europe received the admission mail on Friday. Any South Americans?

Not me, JW. As I said before, I'm from Brazil...

From posts above, hasn't anyone in Taiwan received the admission e-mail?

Just as an FYI, some acceptances are coming over the phone rather than by email. My friend was deferred back in December and received a phone call a week ago saying she was in.

You can add India to that list. I know that three of my colleagues have received acceptances.
Apropos the tension about whether there are going to be any more acceptances, I personally believe it's unfortunately all over and done with. In any case, we shall in all likelihood see something final tomorrow - if people receive waitlist emails tomorrow, then that's that.
Congratulations to all those who have received positive emails and all the very best to those still waiting for admissions to various places.

Personally, I think it's done too. Just wanted a fair answer for these questions: why Admissions Office sent those test mails? (2) what was the purpose of this second test mail? (3) why some applicants have received it (including those who had received the admission mail) and some applicants haven't? And finally, (4) why doesn't HLS simply publish a list of the successfull applicants in its Internet site, instead of getting things complicated?
