Really, I do not think that any decision was made on me. Anyway thanks for the cheerful messages. At least, it gives me some comfort for the moment.
I did not talk much with the admission office and just checked whether my application was reviewed. I did not ask when admission decision will be made and released. We may have to wait for a week.
I am a working professional with LLB from Korea, MA in International Trade from Korea, MA in Global Environmental Policy from Denmark, PhD Candidate in Public International Law from Belgium.
Regarding TOEFL test, I have not stayed for more than 20 days in one country for the past 5 years. No chance to take any test. Thus, I had to ask the TOEFL waiver.

Then did they grant u a waiver after your explanation?

I do not think so, i.e. no waiver. Even after admission and later stage, I presume a candidate must fulfill thier minimum criteria.

Do you have any doubt that you will be admitted?
Still I do not meet the minimum criteria of HLS, if they do not grant TOEFL waiver.
Law is Law.

Called and asked when decisions would be released. By next week they said. So we can relax with checking emails this week.

I know this will only add tension, but last year they sent the results out one week earlier than what they said they would. Just check the threads from last year

Posted Mar 16, 2009 22:14
exactly......

I d prefer Harvard to send an email.....but from my last call with them......it seems we gotta call them if we wish to know our response in advance . let s see
Posted Mar 16, 2009 22:20
really? normally people whom are admitted will receive an email, my friend received an early email last year
Posted Mar 16, 2009 22:24
I also think they'll send out a bunch of decisions this week already - if only to stop the hysterical masses from calling every minute :)
Posted Mar 16, 2009 22:26
yes i know about that.Actually i have read it in last year threads...... but callin Harvard on March 3 I ve been told to call, give some details and get the response because no email would have been sent out, only regular mails. They told me to call in 3 weeks......So I could start bothering them from the next friday. I really hope it doesn t work like this but this is what the Harvard guy of the Admission Office told me
