Should we call the admissions office to ask when exactly they’ll release waiting list decisions? Getting so anxious 

Currently admitted students have until May 31st to ask for a deferral, explaining their circumstances. Hopefully this info helps with some notion of their plans

I was hoping to have an answer before June as indicated in the email. Admitted students having the choice to defer until 31 May would suggested we won't have a final answer by then.

Yes same. I thought I’d have some certainty by the end of this month. I hope they let us know before the beginning of June as indicated in the email.

A substantial number of admitted students have deferred to 2021 (including myself). I hope that brings some relief to those on the waitlist.

That’s what I was thinking too. Since Catherine Peshkin said “before the beginning of June”.

I got the following response: 'we still anticipate being able to make some waitlist admissions offers this year, but that we no longer expect to be able to do so before the beginning of June. We will provide additional updates on our expected timing as we have them.'

I personally prefer to just wait for updates. Just a suggestion that if someone wants to know the updates before long, please feel free to email them.
