I know only of two. But it is hard to say, because the class is too big. What matters here is the strenght of your candidacy, not where you studied. You would be surprised by how far they search for the best applicants. There are people here from the most diverse countries. Really.

Probably only ten days to go, if HLS will release decisions on monday 19 march.

Has anyone of you made some expedite requests in the past few days? Did they state an exact date of decision?

Can someone who has requested that the decision from Harvard be expedited please tell me which email id of theirs you sent the request on? I mailed GPInfo and GPQuery but I got automated responses from both suggesting that they are not going to checked soon. Thanks a lot!

Has anyone's decision been promised to be expedited by Harvard on account of an impending admission / scholarship deadline? I have got a scholarship from Penn but am required to accept by March 14- I requested Harvard to expedite my decision, and they have said they will try their best to give me more 'information' by the deadline- I am not sure what that means. Same here...I have a short deadline for accepting an offer from another Univ (with a substantial scholarship). I asked to let me know something, specially if they did not grant me admission...well nothing to do, they told me to ask for a deadline extension. Last year HLS sent decision on march 22.

so just a week now........its all getting exciting now...in your opinion guys a prior rejection from HLS would have any impact on the decision of a current application?

Last year I read about a guy who was rejected the first time and admitted the second. However I don't know what changed during a year in a his/her academic and/or professional profile.

in my case i was rejected the first time i applied for 2009-2010 term got rejected. Now i have 3 years of experience of legal practice and university teaching and i also co-authored a book. hopefully something will change for me.

According to Harvard, you should let them know if you are facing a deadline from another law school. So I did it. In very short time, they got back to me saying that Harvard cannot accelerate its admission process, and thus I should ask the other law schools for an extension of the deadline... Conclusion: don't waste your time! Harvard won't render an expedited decision.

The same happened to me, in just one year I got a relevant letter of reference, better TOEFL scores and more academic and professional experience.

For the first time in my perennial Harvard LLM applications, I got a notification on my status regarding my TOEFL waiver decision, as waived, on March 7th, just few days back.

Does that give any glimpse of hope guys? This is my 3rd attempt, mind you

oh i too got the status update of 'toefl exempt' on my track status..since all of us are getting the update, it seems the toefl exemption is a decision disjoint from the admission decision and is no indicator of our chances..
