Harvard 2012 decision

My Toefl results were received by Harvard on December 24, 2011. I didn't request a waiver of my Toefl, though I had Cambridge certificates (CPE & ILEC).

My status hasn't changed for quite a while now. All we have to do is wait for the results... Hopefully they'll be released by the end of next week.

God help us all.. Anyway, I have an offer from Cambridge, last year and this year. Couldnt make it last year due to funding challenges. So now I have another chance, I hope it goes well now

I applied for an application fee waiver and got it. Are these common? Anyone know if that correlates at all with chances of admission?

There are two schools of thought: (1) March 21st, because that was the date last year, (2) Monday 19, because last year March 21st was the third monday in March and, as such, the third monday this year is the 19th. Either way, one week tops.

"Two schools of thought". And the bets are on!

Yeah, it wouldn't make a difference if I didn't have a March 23 deadline for NYU. Anyway, I hope it's the second school of thought who got it right this time...

My bet is on Friday 16th. That way, if I get admitted I have the whole weekend to party, and if I get rejected I have the whole weekend to party. Now, considering my wedding under civil law is also set for the 16th, I can see how Mr. Murphy could smell potential. Best of luck to all, again.

After your post, mmario, I'm definitely rooting for your admission ;)

And congrats on your wedding!

My Toefle got waived back on 23 Nov, one week after my submission.. I got a feeling that the decision will be released 19th March, best of luck everyone! =)

Ok. I've changed my mind and joined the second school of thought. So Monday 19th could be the date, unless the application deadline extension has delayed the decision.

Weird, just tried with their gp.query email account and got an automatic reply saying they are no longer accepting applications for 2012. Does anyone know of any other email accounts they use?

I have received a full tuition scholarship from NYU last week and have to decide till 19 of march. Yesterday I informed HLS about it and asked about my application status. Now they want me to send verification, that means scanned copies of the NYU offer (especially scholarship), to them. My question is, can I do that? I am not sure if it is ok to give official NYU documentation to other universities? What do you guys think?
