My application was moved to regular cycle but last time i check my online status turns back to "complete"! (It went to "decision" on early January)

Isn't that weird?

Cannibal, i guess they made a "decision" to sort of "waitlist" you, which means no final decsion was reached so they had to move you back to "complete". I dont think that's bad news at all.

Floridaguy,

Can you get into the admitted students site using your same username and password as you use for the status checker? Thanks.

Yeah, I can now, I didn't check before I got the admission letter so I don't know exactly "when" one should be able to start using the admitted students site.

Hi,

I've also been admitted to GULC on the ILS program. The letter is dated 6 Feb but I've only got it today. They've given me a deadline of 1st April to reply - still waiting for decisions from other schools.

Goodluck to all still waiting to hear back!

As I just wrote in another thread:

Someone has already set up a group on lawyrs.net. So far 10 people have joined: www.lawyrs.net/groupinvitation/127

Will join FB as well, but it's blocked in my law firm. That's why prefer lawyrs.net. Don't you firms block FB? I read 40 % (of the int. firms) do.

Hi withprayers, When did you go complete? Have you heard anything?

Also, when were you put on the GULC wait list? Did your status change again (after you were notified of the WL)?

Hey 13243546 , ur right......I checked my online profile about a week back and saw that it has turned back to complete....but i dont know when it turned complete again...anyway i dont think that 8 week line about the decision holds good any longer

That is funny. Get this. I went "decision" on 1/30. No letter. No nothing. I live close to the school and the post office for me is a few blocks from the school. I should get my mail in a few days. So I emailed them Friday and what kind of reply did I get--drum roll please-------------------------------None! You went from "complete" to "unavailable". I went from "decsion" to "decision, but we are not going to tell you what it is".

The website says: "We are unable to locate your record at this time. If you submitted a paper application, the Admissions Office staff may still be working to enter your information into our database system."
I submitted my application on-line.
Hahaha.

Do'oh!

That's downright bizzare.

I know the admissions people work very hard and have difficult work to do, but I posted the following earlier on this thread. I was totally joking then, but now, I am wondering is it closer to the truth than not?:

But can you imagine how crazy that office is right now, with 5 maybe 10,000 LLM applications (plus thousands of JD applications crossing paths with graduate apps) being read by maybe 10 graduate admissions officers, then you have admissions committee meetings, admissions conferences, etc. Then administrative personnel who have to imput the informtion into electronic form, papers going back and forth, thousands of emails, applicant name similarities, admissions people who add up scores and screw up the addition, computer problems, admissions people out sick, then envelop stuffers, mail room pick-ups and drop-offs,,,,and on and on. Between all the transfer of information (admissions officers to committes to administrative people to mailroom folks, I wonder if they ever accepted a person they meant to reject and rejected a person they meant to accept? Or do they have some type of fool-proof system in place that is impervious to human screw-ups?
