Hey all you guys -
Just to get 1 thing straight, did all of us apply and complete submission of applications in October or are there those in this "decision"-status-no-reply-position, who applied closer to the Nov 15 deadline also? Because if so, it would mean there is some application of mind going on over at GULC and they are forming some kind of a group - otherwise if all of us applied in Oct, then they are simply adding the "decision" status to applications in the order in which they received them.

This para on the GULC web-site text explains the lack of intimation despite the "Decision" status for many of us:
"To apply Early Action, foreign trained students must complete their LL.M. online application by November 15, 2006 with all required documentation received by November 20, 2006. Decisions for this group will be mailed on December 15, 2006... All Early Action LL.M. files are reviewed together as a group; therefore you will receive a decision on these response dates no matter how much earlier your application is completed."

It seems that they contradict themselves. On my status check page I can read that I should expect to receive a mailed decision in 7-10 days since my decision status has been posted. Then, if there is some early action applicant who is still in 'complete' status, one of the two statements they make has to be incorrect.

nothing here, friends!

Nothing new; I even doubt whether they've actually sent any fed-ex enevelopes: my application took two days and a half to reach them.

A somewhat unrelated question - Does anyone know where I can find any info on the GULC website about the personal statement? The only reference I can find to one is in the application form (it only says to include one) but gives no guidance as to length, topic, etc....
Thanks.
Thanks.

I get the feeling its not Fed Ex this time - its the US Postal service - may be explains the lengthened transit time

I think they will start sending letters on 15 th December.

Decisions for this group will be mailed on December 15, 2006". I think that they mention December 15 as the mailing date of decision letters, not the receiving deadline.
Because thay say "on December 15" not "by December 15".

Congratulations, did they send with Fedex or regular air-mail? Where are you from?
