That’s cool! I received my admissions decisions yesterday after the interview, even though I applied to other universities, Duke was/is my first choice. I still have to work on financing the program, however I expect to attend!! We should keep each other on the loop in case we get to go to Durham!

In my particular case I applied on Dec. 20 and got the interview request on Dec. 30 and we coordinated the interview for Jan. 2. I don’t know if it is the standard or not.

It was a casual conversation however I could tell that they evaluate all the details of the application. The questions are more personalized based on your application. My only advice is to relax, be prepared to have an honest discussion with someone who is very pleasant and nice and try to get a good internet connection! Good luck!

I can only say the same. It was a very nice discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes even seemed to be of promotional nature.
Be yourself and be prepared for the absolute basic questions and it'll be fine.

She was so kind and willing to help that I felt free to ask her some questions about their curriculum, programs for international students, lifestyle in NC, etc. And she informed me that I was admitted during the interview. Don’t be too worried about the interview. I think it’s a good sign that you’ve received an interview request at this point.

I also had the interview with professor Idzelis, she is really nice, and is the professor for one of the mandatory courses, so it was great to actually get to talk with someone who is going to teach us.
