Is anyone aware if Duke have extended their April 1 deadline for confirmation and deposit of the requisite fees?

I asked them whether they plan to extend the deadline and waiting for a response.

Hi, I just received a $20k scholarship.

Hi, just wanted general feedback on my perspectives on Duke, so far -
(i) Does it make sense to chose Duke over NYU and Columbia due to the better faculty to student ratio?
(ii) Heard Duke LLM students do well at the LLM job fair in January, every year, and quite a few of them have been placed with law firms at Raleigh as well.
(iii) Faculty at Duke appears at par with faculties at NYU and Columbia.

I know! I mean, we all get the Covid-19 situation has gone from bad to horrendous in the States and my heart really goes out to all the students there, especially the current LLM lot that are taking their lessons online while remaining in an ongoing lockdown mode.

Just a simple e-mail confirming or not confirming the April 1 deadline would really go a long way.....

I will also send an e-mail about this issue. It would be good that other send as well.

I got a scholarship of 30k yesterday, still can’t afford the remainder so I am thinking of asking for more. The email said I had to accept or reject by April 1st so it doesn’t appear that Duke will move the deadline.

I also got an email earlier today saying that they are monitoring the coronavirus situation but that the plan is for the LLM year to start on course. They did mention that their current LLMs had to be transitioned to remote learning platforms.
