It gives you an advantage, but not in all schools. Some schools are not considering every country there is, because there is no enough seats avaliable. However, most law schools do compare candidates from the same country in order to offer admission to the best one. Good luck :)

I am not sure yet whether I prefer Duke over Upenn. I know for sure that I prefer to get admitted to as many as possible, so I can choose the most suitable school for me.
