Hi guys,

I got my admission email to Duke yesterday! Anyone else applied / got admited?

I haven't found a post on Duke, so I decided to open this one.

I have had some problems with LSAC regarding the Duke application so that I don't know exactly when they sent my report.

All that I can say is that I completed the online forms and docs on Nov 19. Apparently, however, the report was sent only in the begnning of Dec. They were fast, anyways.

Which school is your priority? I tried to send you a PM, but somehow I could only find a "llm2013", who was last online in 2009...

I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil. 4 years of practice as a lawyer in a boutique firm in SP. Degree from a top Brazilian university and I am finishing a part-time LLM in Brazil.

I have to accept their offer until mid-Jan. I will wait a little longer to decide what to do.

I have no response yet. I've completed my application on December, 13th, and it is under review since December, 17th.

Have they already started sending their decisions?

I am the same as you. My application is under review since December 17th. I know for sure that they start giving decisions since they give decisions since January.

Congratulations! I think both UVA and Duke are on the same level, both are located in pretty remote student cities. I don't know which one would I choose :-) it's really up to you! :) maybe you should consider the one which gives you financial aid?

Hey! My application is "under review" since December 21st and got no answer yet. I don't know when to expect an answer, I am really anxious, anyone have news from Duke?

I got an offer of admission from Duke to the 2013-2014 LLM Program on January 8th.
I have visited Duke Law School twice and I really liked its environment. Moreover, given the fact Duke is a T14 School, I will probably accept the offer.

Congratulations! I visited Duke too and I loved the facilities and the Campus even though is not locate in a big city, lets see if we are meeting in fall haha... Can you share when did your application was received and when was completed?

No problem. I sent my application via LSAC on January 2nd and the report was sent that same day. Though the decision was fast, I have been in touch with the International Office since 2011, when I first visited Duke. This might have helped me. Good luck!

No problem. I sent my application via LSAC on January 2nd and the report was sent that same day. Though the decision was fast, I have been in touch with the International Office since 2011, when I first visited Duke. This might have helped me. Good luck!

I got accepted to Duke as well! I sent off my application November 24th. I was told in person two weeks ago (I was visiting the campus) and I'm about 80% sure I will take it. Might wait for Penn to get back to me.
