Did this killing at Yale move anyone?

I followed the disappearance of Annie Le with keen interest since Yale is my top choice and was sad on the final outcome, but this piece in the NY Times made me a bit rattled; http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/15/nyregion/15yale.html?hp
I am sure for anyone who is eying Yale like I am the case will inevitably raise questions about personal safety at the best law school in the US.

A suspect has been apprehended, the Lab Technician, very good. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/18/nyregion/18yale.html?_r=1&hp. According to this, he had scratch marks on his chest and on his arms, and bruises too. Very sad this incident, very sad :-(.
