I am an Indian and have 2 years of my law school left. I was wondering about the kind of credentials required to get admitted to a top law school in the US for LLM.

Well the most important credential sorry to say is enough money to fund your LL.M. Other than that, good grades, will help move up the law school chain. Even if you don't have good grades, you might even get lucky and end up at a good law school, if they are unable to fill their classes or if there are too few applicants.
