Hi, I'm trying to decide between Cornell and Northwestern, so maybe a Facebook group of admitted students is a good idea, in order to get in touch and try to decide which school to attend.

Has anyone committed to Cornell? I got my acceptance and 30K waiver a while back, but I’m waiting to hear back from the other schools to make an informed decision.

I paid the first deposit of Cornell but i am still waiting NYU answer and Berkeley (waitlist).

And did you send the letter accepting the tuition waiver as well? Mine says you certify you have withdrawn your applications from other schools.

I'll be declining my offer, and got a 25K tuition waiver, maybe those will go to someone else.

Hi, just want to know if I’m missing something here. We are to confirm our seat and scholarship only by March 30th, right? Then why confirm/decline this early when you have about 18 more days to evaluate options and decide?

Still haven't heard anything from Cornell whether being rejected or waitlisted.

I did, but they do not seem to extend the deadline. However, I kindly suggest you and as many of you asking the same to create somewhat pressure so that they change their approach.

Anybody here paid the deposit? I paid mine on saturday. I think we should make a group of all people who are accepting Cornell.

I did pay the first deposit to hold my place but I am still waiting news from NYU and Berkeley.
