Columbia - Regular Cycle

that is weird that it is made under rolling basis as my application was complete end of January and i sent an e mail on monday to know when ill get an answer ( cause i have a deadline with scholar soon), and they answered me that they are not able to provide an answer for the moment..
omarsherrif had his completed-email after me and had an answer before..I think it is more random than on a rolling basis !

@Steripan - What link are you checking? I keyed in my username and password in the returning user section on https://www-app.law.columbia.edu/gls/login.act and the message I get is "Application admission schedule is not available. Please contact GLS Admissions Office with any questions". Is there any other link where one can check one's app status? Can't seem to find it on the CLS website...

Thanks! Yeah, clearly CLS admissions seem to work quite randomly.

Thanks for the update! I am relieved, I thought something went wrong with my application... :)

It seems that there has been a trickle of admissions and rejections lately. I was fortunate to get in on early decision, but I have not heard anything since December 15. They told me they would have a decision on my associates-in-law application "soon." They also said once they made a decision, they would tell me (1) whether I get any financial aid and, perhaps more importantly, (2) when my deadline is to accept the offer of admission. It seems some people have deadlines of next Monday, March 19th to accept. I still have not been given a deadline and am nervous. Anyone else in my situation?
UPDATE: I just called and the GLS office said they were still considering A-i-L applications so not to worry. I will get a deadline and a financial aid decision "sometime in the near future" (whatever that means - they were not more specific).

i think it's a good sign that we haven't been informed. they have already rejected some, so that means we're borderline of getting in.

i'm not proud of being second-hand plate, but I want to get in hehe, no pride here :P

I had a March 23 deadline, and accepted (and paid the deposit) last week. Definitely looking forward to the program, and the chance to study with the impressive faculty and students. Very thankful already.

Good luck to those still waiting! And look forward to meeting those who have accepted the offer in August.
