Hi guys!
I was admitted as well. The deadline for acceptance of the admission offer is 19 March 2012, which means that I have to make up my mind in less than two-week time.
I wonder what deadline did they set for the other lucky ones?
Thank you for your comments.

Congrats! I received my admission email last night and they set a deadline until March 26 for me. I wonder why we do not have all the same deadline...

Yes, odd. My deadline is March 23, while the admission was early February. I guess it's a "rolling" admission, and mysterious thought process...

I am sure there must be some reasonable explanation to this. Presumably, they have another promising candidate from the same country/region, whom they would like to offer the admission if I decline, but this is only a guess.

From all the programs I am applying, Columbia is the only one which is not very clear about their decision-making process. I am following this board and I've seen people getting admitted from the regular cycle in mid january with a 15-day difference between the application completed e-mail ad the admission offer. I wish I could understand their process... It would make it a lot easier not to lose my mind.

I just got my acceptance email from Columbia :) I had applied for early review, but had been deferred to the regular cycle. I have to accept by March 30.

Good luck to all those waiting!

I got an e-mail of 'complete application received' only on 10th Feb 2012, even though I had applied in Dec. Any idea as to when i may receive a decision?

Unfortunately, Columbia has a "on a rolling basis", which means you will receive a response by late April or early May.

My confirmation email also came in around February 7, but it seems at least one person who was equally late has had a response. I think our responses will be out before the end of the month at the latest.

For you all don't lose hope: I know someone from last year that received the admission mail (with a 50% scholarship) on May 10th. It means that it is really rolling basis...

Really? I am so sorry!

Would you mind sharing the date when you got completion email?

Do I understand it correctly that Columbia hasn't decided about scholarships yet but will take decisions by the end of May?
In my admission it is mentionned that I don't get financial aid, but as far as I understand it, financial aid and scholarships are treated as two different things by CLS.
Has anyone already been notified about a scholarship award?
