for those accepted, did they tell you what date their classes start, i.e. what date one has to be there? For example Penn has the mandatory summer program which starts on Aug. 5th, does Columbia have something similar or do they not offer any pre-courses?
thanks in advance and congrats to getting accepted... lucky bastards ;)

No it doesn't because some people get their results earlier for no rhyme of reason- if their objective is to get the best students- they shd ideally review each of them- compare and contrast and then make a final call.
So true.
I'm really surprised of the Columbia selection process... I feel if I get in it's only luck... Hmmm.

Throught my working career, I had always felt the weekends were really short. Never realized that one day would find weekends long and painful.
Come on Columbia!!

I wonder if there is regional difference on the releasing of CLS's admission decision? I mean, considering the diversity of LLM student, whether they divide all applicants into different groups according to their nationalities, and release admission decision group by group?

I'm in! :)
Received the decision by email yesterday.

Please also let us know which country you are from?

I submitted my application quite late - December 13 I think, and received an "application complete" on January 9.
I'm from a very small European country. I ranked ca. top 5-10% at relatively unknown law schools and I have around 1,5 years of work experience - an internship at the ministry of foreign affairs + current employment at a 1st tier law firm in Brussels.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting.
