I ask for an expedite decision but they answer:
Thank you for your message. We will send your file to the Admissions Committee for expedited review. While we cannot guarantee that they will be able to make a decision by your deadline, we will make every effort to have a decision by then. As soon as a decision is made, we will notify you by email.

Hi guys. I just got accepted! I sent the request to expedite on Friday. Now I just have to convince my employer to send me to Columbia vice Penn. Good luck to all still waiting.

I was not on the waiting list. I hadn't heard a thing before I requested an expedite. As for my background and credentials, I was definitely accepted because of my work resume and not my academic record. I attended a boring commuter college for undergrad and graduated in the bottom half of my class from University of San Diego School of Law! I have 11 years of pretty interesting adventures as a Navy lawyer and have been directly involved in a couple very famous events. That had to have been what they liked about my file.
