Hey, I see this has already been asked a few times on this thread, but has anyone been accepted to the human rights fellowship? I have a very late complete on my form but I'm really counting on it to be able to attend graduate school. Does Columbia send out rejections early on in the process historically or is it just at the very end?

Hey guys I’m from New Zealand and haven’t heard back yet (though I know a few others in NZ who have). I think it’s genuinely a rolling system, but I have 7 other schools to which I’ve been accepted that need an answer by 1 April! I’ve sent an request for an expedited decision and have been told they will do their best to give me a decision by 1 April but can’t guarantee it.

Hey guys, has anybody from India here requested Columbia to expedite their decision and heard something ? I'm wondering if it's worth trying. I would ideally like to know before April 1! Thanks.

I am from India. I have not received any reply yet, however, have not requested for expedited review till now.

Hi all,
I requested expedited review on Thursday and received my decision today! So they do seem to be rolling through them at a fairly quick pace. Good luck!

Hi everyone,
I just received an email from Columbia saying that they can’t offer me any financial aid. I hope this helps those who are waiting to hear about that.

Just wondering if an expedited decision request would work to our favor or work against us. Anyone who can share some insight?

I just asked for one and attached my other offers. They told me to let them know if I receive other offers or financial aid in the meantime.

I requested for an expedited decision and got in today! It won't always work against you, please try so it ends the uncertainty either way :)
